2P MUSIC (2PM) is sponsoring a nationwide Remixers’
Competition for residents of the United States.
No purchase necessary to enter.
Start Date…March 15, 2008 End Date…April 30, 2008
The competition is an opportunity for participants to
create, perform and showcase remixing talent dynamic
enough to merit inclusion in a recording project.
ELIGIBILITY
All participants must submit the complete contest
application in the name(s) of person(s) who performed
the musical work(s). Winning status will be only awarded
to the person(s) whose name is on the winning entry.
The sponsors are not responsible for misdirected,
incomplete, lost, or unavailable network connections, or
failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer
transmissions or other errors or problems of any kind,
which may limit a participant’s ability to participate
in the Contest. False or deceptive entries or acts will
render a participant ineligible. All entries become the
property of 2PM and will not be returned.
TO ENTER THE COMPETITION
1-Contestants may only use songs provided in the
Remixer Music File
2-To enhance your "work" contestants may
only use original song parts composed by contestants or
song parts from the 2PMusic catalog
and the 2P Music "Hooks + Grooves" song file.
3-Your CD presentation must consist of
16 remixes competer and uploaded to sponsors on or
before Jan 21, 2008
PRIZES: Winner of the 2P Music "Remixers
Masters Vol. 1 CD"
Grand Prize Winner
Will be awarded self-titled CD
May select the CD title
May select titles of All 14 songs/remixed
May design the CD cover
Will receive Song Writer credits – 50% share
Will receive Song Writer’s royalties – 50% share
CD will be featured on “In The Artist Spotlight”
Will have “Top Cat” designation
Will receive 20 promotional CD’s
Will receive national exposure
6 Semi-Finalists
Will contribute one (1) or more song(s) to a 14 song
compilation CD
Will Share Royalties Equally on the CD depending on the
number of your songs used in CD releases
The promotion will be the same as the “Best In Show”
winners with full
recognition, with songwriter and royalties 50% share
Will receive 20 promotional copies of the CD
Will receive national exposure
HOW TO WIN
Winning is based on the following criteria:
Originality
Creativity
Quality of use of Songs and Hook & Groove parts chosen
from the
2P Music files in addition to, if any, original parts
used for song enhancement
MOST importantly, your remix skills
Remixer Music File
Choose any 16 songs to make-up your CD
presentation. Choose a title for each remix. Complete
your application form. Follow instructions and how to
upload your remixes. Your 16 song CD project must be
completed and submitted on or Jan 21, 2008. Read rules
and regulations.
